We are currently looking for suitably qualified candidate to fill up the following position of Compliance Manager

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The candidate will report directly to the Head of Compliance, with matrix reporting to the country\xe2\x80\x99s Financial Controller. The candidate will oversees the corporate and regulatory compliance for Vietnam and support Keppel Land\xe2\x80\x99s (KLL) Head of Compliance in, but not limited to, the various initiatives below for KLL Vietnam\xe2\x80\x99s businesses in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi:-

• Implementation of KLL\xe2\x80\x99s compliance policies, standards and guidelines, ensuring its alignment with the Group\xe2\x80\x99s regulatory compliance roadmap
• Provide leadership and advisory to business/functional heads for regulatory compliance matters, and ensure adequate measures to manage/mitigate regulatory, legal & financial risks and Group\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Conduct requirements are adopted
• Ensuring the continuity of Keppel Land\xe2\x80\x99s ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System Certification for Vietnam
• Develop and oversee the implementation of an adequate compliance monitoring, review program and compliance checklists to monitor standard of regulatory compliance (including digitisation initiatives, streamlining of processes)
• Oversee the regulatory compliance and latest developments, including but not limited to, impact analysis on operation, system, process and reporting (where relevant) and disseminating the information to senior management, business units, colleagues and representatives.
• Develop and deliver compliance training & communication materials to raise staff awareness and understanding of compliance principles and promoting a positive compliance culture
• Any other work related initiatives as may be requested by KLL\xe2\x80\x99s

JOB REQUIREMENTS

At least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in Legal, Compliance or internal audit, preferably within real estate industry

High level of professional ethics, personal integrity and stewardship

Good understanding and knowledge of compliance principles, programme elements, laws and regulations

Self-motivated, meticulous and organised

Strong interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written)

Ability to collaborate and work independently across businesses, geographies and with various stakeholders
