Summary You will perform cleaning & masking of parts to be plasma-sprayed. You are required to handle different engine models and stages of parts, masking and coating type needs, operate manual and auto grit blast machines.Essential Responsibilities:Perform grit blast, degrease and masking of componentsCheck and establish appropriate programs for sprayingSpray components in accordance with OP specificationsEnsure proper documentations are maintainedMaintain Log on maintenance and rectification of robot/equipmentMaintain good housekeeping in work area/robots/equipmentPerform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasksQualifications/Requirements:Minimum GCE \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 level with 3 years of relevant experiencePreferably NITEC in Machining or equivalentAble to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English.Desired Characteristics:Possess basic technical know-how on the thermal spraying gunAble to operate different types of coating sprayAble to operate grit blast machine, CNC machines, knowledge of CNC programming and plasma sprayA team playerHumble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learnTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructivelyFocused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committedLeadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborativeProblem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinkerAt GE Aerospace, we are always searching for great talent.
