Computer Engineering Assistant
Job Description
Assist engineers in designing, testing, and implementing hardware and software systems.
Provide technical support for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems.
Perform basic coding, scripting, or debugging tasks under supervision.
Prepare and update system documentation, reports, and manuals.
Monitor and test system performance; suggest improvements where applicable.
Help manage inventory of hardware components and software licenses.
Set up and configure workstations, servers, and networks as needed.
Conduct research and compile data for engineering projects.
Maintain data backups and assist in disaster recovery planning.
Follow company and industry best practices for system security and data protection.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, or Java) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to follow technical instructions and manage time effectively.
