The candidate should have at least 1 year customer care experience in 5 Star hotel or fine dining restaurant. The candidate should have preferably a certificate or degree in a hospitality related fields, basic computer skills and familiar with POS systems. The successful candidate must possess exceptional customer service and people skills. They must be detail oriented individuals, who listen well and are able to anticipate someone's needs in order to provide a wonderful customer experience. Job Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome and attended. Accompany and shows guests to tables or waiting area. Introduces guests to the menu items and specials for the day. Takes table orders and send to kitchen for fulfilling. Anticipate guests needs to accommodate them and provide an exceptional guest experience. Ensure that restaurant spaces are always clean and tidy, well decorated and serene atmosphere is maintained. Takes phone/email/web and walk-in reservations. Ensure optimal distribution of tables to maximize income. Need to be dedicated team player, flexible and willing to help others at busy times as and when required. Cashiering and settlement for POS. Other duties as required. Job Requirements: 1+ years of previous customer service experience Positive phone demeanour and superior written and verbal communication skills are essential. Pleasant personality and appearance, able to create an emotional connection with guest. Must have a service-oriented mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued. Mental flexibility to respond to a variety of situations. Self-control -to remain calm even when attacked, positive when faced with pessimism, and professional when a customer gets personal. Effective Listener- take time to truly understand a guest's issue and letting them know you're paying attention. Strong organizational skills and attention to details. Possess a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team. Excellent product knowledge. Able to work long shifts and on weekend or public holidays.
