Qualifications & experience



Degree/Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Construction M&E. Strong knowledge of M&E details, working drawings and local construction practices (SMACNA, ASHRAE, SS COP, FSSD, NEA). Conversant in using BIM & CAD to prepare design and submission documents and coordinate and resolve technical and site issues. Good team player and analytical and problem solver, Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels. Organised and systematic to file day-to-day records, contracts and project files/documents.

Tasks & responsibilities



Systems Design & Calculation, cost estimation, preparation of plans and engineering design (BIM, CAD) following code and standards (SMACNA, ASHRAE, SS COP, FSSD, NEA). Obtain and review supplier/contractor's submissions for completeness, per specifications. Supervise and review site works according to design drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and method statements. Preparation of schedule, monitor project progress and preparation of regular progress reports. Managing subordinates to maintain and ensure project quality and deliverables are met. Organising daily work records throughout the project to ensure progress and changes are tracked and variations promptly raised to stakeholders.
