Serve as the main point of contact for all on-site activities.
Lead, manage, and motivate the site team, including supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical paths and milestones.
Implement and manage the project plan, making adjustments as necessary to overcome challenges.
2. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
Champion a "Safety First" culture on site.
Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA (or local) regulations.
Conduct regular site safety inspections, toolbox talks, and crew inductions.
Investigate and report all incidents, implementing corrective actions promptly.
Ensure environmental compliance, including waste management and erosion control.
3. Quality Control:
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and building codes.
Conduct regular quality inspections and implement quality assurance procedures.
Manage the snagging/punch list process to ensure a high-quality finish.
4. Budget & Cost Management:
Monitor project costs against the approved budget.
Review and approve material, equipment, and labor expenditures.
Identify and manage potential cost overruns.
Process and negotiate change orders with clients and subcontractors.
5. Communication & Reporting:
Act as the primary liaison between the field and the office, client, architects, and engineers.
Chair regular progress meetings with the project team and stakeholders.
Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, including photos and documentation.
Maintain accurate and complete project records, including as-built drawings.
6. Scheduling & Logistics:
Coordinate and schedule all subcontractors and suppliers to ensure a seamless workflow.
Manage site logistics, including site access, storage, and material delivery.
