Job Description

Our client is a leading commercial property insurance company that specialized in loss prevention services primarily to large corporations throughout the world.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating on-site hazards and communicating risks at commercial and industrial properties, perform evaluations that will help the clients reduce risks in their business and at their properties.
• Perform hands-on site assessments of physical properties including roofs and conduct evaluations which include, but are not limited to, site water supplies, dust hazards, chemical storage, and rack storage arrangements of client products.
• Assessing adequacy and operational functionality of protective equipment
• Evaluating in-house loss prevention measures
• Consulting with senior management on solutions and management of change, with the aim of reducing risks.
• Extensive training will be provided.
• Extensive traveling (approximately 30% - 40%)

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in plant process/ operation; or maintaining, designing and/ or testing high voltage electrical systems, pressure vessels, boilers, turbine, compressor, or other large rotating equipment.
• Experience in a specialty industry such as power generation, chemical, nuclear, mining, pulp & paper, manufacturing or maritime would be preferable.
• Direct involvement in engineering projects would be an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving skills.
• Efficient time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Proven technical capability including diverse knowledge of engineering principles.
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Strong communication, listening and relationship building skills are a must.
