An Overview

As part of our capacity building efforts, we provide training and consultancy services on impact measurement and programme evaluation. Our clients range from government agencies and foundations to charities and social enterprises. Currently we see increased awareness and demand for better measuring of impact and outcomes in Singapore and the region. We have hence set up a dedicated team called Impact & Strategy to grow this practice.

This opportunity is for individuals who are passionate about being able to define and measure social impact in order to direct resources to where they are most effective.

Roles and Responsibilities

This job is for you if you are:

Your job role will cover:
  • Solution Deliveries: Provide advisory and consultancy to clients by understanding client needs in social impact measurement and developing solutions to address those needs, in order to build the capacity and capability of social organisations in navigating their dual growth goals of financial and social impact. These solutions may take the form of strategy review and development, programme and process evaluations, impact frameworks, or training.
  • Project Management: Plan, manage, and monitor advisory projects in order to ensure projects are delivered within specified timeline, budget, specifications and client satisfaction are achieved
  • Design & Innovation: Contribute to research and the development of new solution areas related to impact measurement and strategy development to support business growth and competitiveness in the market
  • Business Development & Lead Generation: Contribute to or support project proposal development and potential leads identification from existing projects to contribute to business development and healthy sales pipelines
  • Internal Initiative: Contribute to organisational internal improvement initiatives/ projects (e.g. improving in-house working processes; setting up in-house infrastructure) to facilitate the growth and scalability of Empact
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, majoring in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Human Resource, Psychology, Sociology, or other related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, i.e. in consulting/ advisory, business process improvement, organisational development, training and development, programme evaluation, business analytics
  • Possess skills in qualitative and quantitative methods in the areas of data collection and analysis
  • Possess problem-solving, analytical & conceptual thinking skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills; takes initiative, is customer-oriented
  • Familiarity with the community and social service sector (landscape, key agencies, resources and social agencies) will be an advantage
