Job Description
Carry out building assessment and diagnosis to address heritage conservation and building defects. This includes site/building investigation, testing, visual inspection, non-destructive testing, etc. using various techniques. This shall be followed by analysis of results, and preparation of proposal of rectifications and conservations strategies. Consolidating findings into formal reports, tender documents and other documentation. Carry out tendering and project management activities. Qualifications & Requirements1) Diploma, Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil/Mechanial/Materials Engineering, Architecture and other similar qualifications.2) Background in building technology, heritage conservation, construction, building diagnosis, architecture and building materials.3) Familiar with CAD drawings.4) Experience with building non-destructive testing (such as infrared thermography, etc), software simulations (Ansys) and photogrammetry software would be advantageous.5) Independent, good communication and analytical skills and competent with computer softwares.
