Job Purpose

The primary responsibilities are to proactively build strong relationships that lead to a sustainable pipeline and achievement of the business; establish credibility and profile within the media industry, make a proven difference to the business, and for overall client satisfaction. The media team is responsible for the growth of Kantar\xe2\x80\x99s media offerings in Singapore. This role has the responsibility to inspire media thinking and influence new product development in Singapore.

Main Responsibilities

ANALYSIS & RESEARCH EXPERTISE

  • Works closely with the teams to ensure impactful and engaging solutions are delivered to clients
  • Able to understand client issues/questions and relate them to Kantar media solutions or translate into an internal research brief
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
  • Respond to new business opportunities through,
  • Liaising with clients to understand their needs
  • Creating proposals to answer research briefs
  • Presenting proposals and pursuing to a yes/no decision
  • Keeps up to date on latest industry developments and trends and applies understanding to suggest/implement new solution innovations or improvements to grow or protect creative and media solutions revenues
  • Develops strong personal relationships with a broad range of people within client and prospect organisations that lead to sustainable business
CLIENT CONSULTANCY
  • Demonstrate confidence and strong interpersonal skills across multiple levels within organisation
  • Apply high level of knowledge and understanding of your clients and their business in all interactions and deliverables/analysis conducted for them
  • Apply key principles of advertising planning, buying and strategy to deliver effective advice and consultancy for your clients;
  • Instigate and facilitate client discussions to better understand their business issues
  • Strong interpretation of data and ability to articulate and present insights clearly and impactfully
  • Provide a point of view on brand, media and communication issues aligned with Kantar philosophies
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at multiple levels of seniority to the extent they are first port of call across all accounts for opinions, information and advice
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Over 2 years experience in client facing media roles (preferably at a research, media agency, digital agency, or media company)
  • Proven marketing (research) knowledge
  • Understanding of campaign planning and execution across all media platforms as well as understanding of media buying
  • Degree in Marketing/Business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Basic SPSS skills are an added bonus
