We are seeking an experienced and highly technical SSE (Security Services Edge) Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This architect-level role will play a critical role in supporting our sales efforts for ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access), SWG (Secure Web Gateway), CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker), and DEM (Digital Experience Management) solutions. You will be responsible for providing deep technical expertise to our sales team, enabling them to effectively understand and position our solutions to potential customers. You will also be intricately involved in pre-sales activities, such as designing complex solutions and conducting intricate proof-of-concept deployments.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise, Pre-Sales and Post Sales Support:
  • Provide comprehensive technical expertise to our sales team on ZTNA, SWG, CASB, and DEM solutions, ensuring thorough understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
  • Assist the sales team with pre-sales activities, including solution design, proof-of-concept deployments, and customization proposals.
  • Develop and deliver technically accurate presentations and demos to potential customers, showcasing the value proposition and features of our solutions.
  • Answer complex technical questions from potential customers with clarity and confidence, addressing their concerns and providing solutions to their specific security challenges.
  • Assist customers in the pre-sales and post sales phase with critical escalations through the product and engineering organizations.
  • Solution Design and Deployment:
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure that our solutions are seamlessly integrated with existing customer technologies and infrastructure.
  • Design and architect complex security solutions that integrate ZTNA, SWG, CASB, and DEM to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept deployments, leveraging technical expertise to configure, test, and optimize solutions for customer evaluation.
  • Technology Knowledge and Industry Trends:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in the SSE space, including emerging threats and innovative solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions that can enhance our offerings and provide additional value to our customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technology partners and vendors within the SSE ecosystem.
  • Sales Support and Market Analysis:
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities for our solutions by understanding evolving customer needs and proactively proposing relevant solutions.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic adjustments to our sales approach.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns for our SSE solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT security or a related field, with a strong focus on network security, cloud security, and identity and access management (IAM).
  • Deep understanding of SSE concepts and technologies, including ZTNA, SWG, CASB, and DEM, along with hands-on experience implementing and managing these solutions.
  • Proven track record of designing and deploying complex security solutions for enterprise organizations, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences with clarity and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field is preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Must have certification of CISSP. CCIE will be optional.
  • Demonstrated experience with Gartner Magic Quadrant leaders in the SSE space, particularly Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks, and Netskope.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, including the ability to leverage cloud services for secure access and data protection.
  • Familiarity with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) solutions, and their integration with SSE platforms.
  • Strong understanding of API integration and microservices architectures, enabling seamless integration with existing customer technologies and workflows.
  • Proven ability to analyze security trends and translate them into actionable insights for our sales and marketing teams.
Surrounding Technologies:

In addition to the core SSE technologies, you will need to have a working knowledge of and ability to work with the following:
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM): Understanding of various IAM solutions like Azure AD, Okta, and Ping Identity, and their integration with SSE platforms for seamless user access control.
  • Endpoint Security: Familiarity with endpoint security solutions like EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and XDR (Extended Detection and Response) and their role in comprehensive security posture.
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Understanding of DLP solutions and their integration with CASB for data protection and compliance.
  • Network Access Control (NAC): Knowledge of NAC solutions and their role in securing access to corporate networks and resources.
  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM): Ability to integrate SSE platform logs and events with SIEM systems for centralized
