Working within Application Support, you are responsible for providing our customers and clients with a stable, secure environment in which to conduct business and utilize the services provided by JPMorgan Chase. You are responsible for following established Production Assurance processes and acting in the best interest of our firm. You will have opportunities to display initiative and take ownership for projects, as assigned.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing daily production support, assisting in reporting significant issues and their impacts to Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) management along with any other reporting needs deemed important or necessary.

The Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Production Management, Consumer Lending Technology Mission Control (MC) manages availability of CLT LOB\'s on a 24x7 basis. The US day is supported by the teams in Columbus/Houston and the US overnight is mainly supported by Singapore/India teams. The MC is entrusted with end-to-end monitoring responsibilities of the Credit Card, Payments environment as well as other production management responsibilities. Its aim is to resolve 90% of all incidents without escalations and with least MTTR.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • Minimum 8 years of experience within a technology environment is required
  • Incident management experience
  • Ability to properly address and resolve production issues
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis, documenting findings, and designing plans to rectify production issues
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations
  • Able to work a 12 hour shift pattern (include weekend working)
  • Strong technical background in Middleware, Unix and Database, Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Kubernetes/APIGEE)
  • Experience with Application performance monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace , Grafana
  • Specific knowledge of IT infrastructure including networks, storage networks, load balancing, server clustering, databases and application architecture
  • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
  • Hands-on with technical operations - high pressure shift environment
Preferred/Desired Skills
  • Experience with Credit Card and Payments products is preferred
  • Experience working with Cloud platforms - AWS/Azure/Kubernetes
  • Customer-centric - preferable from technical support roles and/or professional services
