The role At ICC Academy we know that our content marketing efforts drive tangible results, increasing our online visibility and in turn driving sales revenue. However, there is so much more that we can do. This new role has been created to ensure we give a proven marketing channel the attention it deserves.

ICC Academy needs an experienced and creative content marketer to accelerate brand awareness, drive traffic to our website and generate new leads for our sales team. Your focus will be to help plan, develop and implement a content marketing strategy that increases our digital footprint while driving real business results.

This role will suit a content marketer from a corporate background who wants more freedom and responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a start-up environment. Despite ICC Academy being a small team here in Singapore, you will be backed by the security and resources of the ICC, an easily recognized global brand with headquarters in Paris and a presence in more than 90 countries around the world.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing & Sales to plan and develop the content marketing strategy for both our B2C and B2B audiences
  • Produce a range of educational content to drive traffic to our website, increase brand awareness and generate new leads for the business, either independently or by making use of the ICC network (see next point). This will involve liaising regularly with the wider ICC communications team in Paris.
  • Work closely with ICC policy managers, external authors and experts, ICC National Committees and designers to ensure we are regularly producing high quality content that provides value to our target audiences at every stage of the sales funnel.
  • Ownership of all content distribution channels including website, social media, and the ICC Academy newsletter. You will also have responsibility for testing and growing new distribution channels
  • Optimize all website content for SEO
  • Manage the ICC Academy content and social media calendar to ensure we are publishing to a regular rhythm across all our core distribution channels
  • Plan and implement new initiatives to manage, grow and increase the engagement of the ICCA alumni community
  • Ensure a consistent style and tone of voice across all distribution channels, working closely with the wider ICC communications team in Paris to ensure we adhere to brand guidelines.
Skills and experience needed:
  • 4-5 years of content and social media marketing experience, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Strong, demonstrable track-record of using educational content marketing to drive business growth and increase demand for digital products
  • Strong, demonstrable track-record of planning, developing and producing content for both B2B and B2C audiences
  • A proven ability to produce content that varies in topic, format, and funnel stage; from research whitepapers and in-depth educational guides to Twitter threads and live streams on LinkedIn.
  • Savvy and well versed in various SEO and link-building strategies
  • Proven ability to grow communities on social media, especially through LinkedIn
  • An eye for great design and obsessed with delivering the best possible content experience to our audience
  • Comfortable using Wordpress and Google Analytics
  • Clear, concise communicator with strong writing and editing skills
  • Proactive, independently minded with a strong desire to succeed
  • Experience working in banking, trade finance, logistics or supply chain management would be a major advantage
  • Proficiency in Adobe products including Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere would be an advantage
  • Experience of using the following digital tools would be an advantage; Optin Monster, Hootsuite, Ahrefs, Mailchimp and Zoho
