Job Description

The Content Specialist combines the innovativeness of a writer with the practical focus in providing content in our website, social media, press releases and corporate communications. She should be able to suggest ideas for stories and see them through to publication. She is expected to have excellent organizational and leaderships skills, as well as a unique problem-solving ability.She champions Microgenesis content strategy and its daily publishing operations. The Content Specialist reports to the Director for Marketing & Comminications.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing daily publishing operations.
  • Presides regular content meetings.
  • Writes excellent content daily that are aligned to our brand strategy
  • Suggests accurate content for all our solutions products, trainings, and services.
  • Alignment with management team in terms of content direction and storytelling strategy.
  • Listens intently to tech trends and what's new in the market.
  • Provides support required by the Director of Marketing & Communication.
  • Serves Employee Engagement Team by supplying content for their communications requirements.
  • Cooperates with sales team to match content design intent and sales slant.
  • Formulates and submits content analysis report for improvements and brand strategy purposes.
  • Gathers and consolidates data and reports from sales team to ensure alignment in our content.
  • Oversees proofreading procedures in all marketing collaterals and edit copy when necessary.
  • Evaluating finalized copy for compliance with policies, style and tone.
  • Resolve issues as they arise.
  • Attends events on behalf of Director for Marketing & Communications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mass Communications, Journalism and related fields
  • 0-1 year relevant work experience
  • Computer literate
Knowledge
  • Interest in what works in websites.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment
