To ensure success as a content specialist, you should show a keen eye for detail and be highly creative. A skilled content specialist should be expert storytellers and possess excellent knowledge of consumer and content trends. This position requires project management, hands-on writing and editing, the ability to define and implement content marketing strategies and, collaboration with BytePlus customers and employees of varying technical depth. Have the ability to balance priorities and meet multiple deadlines.
Responsibilities:

  • Craft interesting, well-researched, content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers, and improve shared content across social media channels; content to include white papers, blog posts, website copy, eBooks, case studies, webinars, videos, presentations, speeches, and other content as needed
  • Lead research to drive thought leadership that fuels white papers, webinars, press, awareness, and a reputation of BytePlus as a thought leader and information resource.
  • Contribute to social media postings and management of social media accounts and content calendar
  • Update web content, working with digital marketing, product marketing, and creative.
  • Keep up with current industry trends and topics to ensure effective communications
  • Collaborate with product marketing to develop industry and role-based messaging
  • Copy edit and review content for messaging, style guidelines, brand consistency, and voice; provide education and guidance to ensure high quality writing for all BytePlus content
  • Coordinate with partners, thought leaders, and other third parties to produce high quality joint content programs
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendars and content project plans; provide regular updates to stakeholders, and determine metrics for ensuring effectiveness of marketing content
  • Build and track benchmarks for measuring success and ROI
  • Optimize the delivery strategy for each piece, by implementing the best practices, and repeatedly test various tools, content formats, and distribution channels with various target audience segments
  • Ensure that all communications adhere to brand and communications standards and are written in a consistent BytePlus "voice"
  • Conceive new content ideas and drive the process from concept to delivery of the final product
  • Write, edit and deliver exceptional content that meets business objectives
  • Partner with the brand and creative team to bring content assets to life in designs
  • Proactively collaborate with a variety of groups including other marketing teams, product managers and marketing managers on multiple projects, while proactively setting expectations
  • 5+ years of content marketing experience
  • Working knowledge of SEO, SEM and marketing analytics required
  • Good knowledge of personas and the customer journey
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative self-starter and resourceful individual
  • Independent Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English
  • The ability to excel in the management of cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content
  • Ability to work independently and lead projects
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
  • Experience with CMS, Google analytics, and the top social channels
  • Dynamic and strong team-player with a positive can-do attitude
