Job Description


:

  • Manage the contractual matters related to procurement processed by Company.
  • Draft, revise, review a variety of contracts, and work closely with the procurement and logistic personnel to advice on pitfalls and essential requirements to resolve contractual issues and ensure that all legal implications are properly reviewed and managed, negotiating with Suppliers to finalize the contract if required.
  • Continually review terms and conditions in the Company contracts and highlight any potential exposure to risks and recommend the solutions to comply with Company policy, standards and industry best practices, especially to make sure the best benefit for the Company and reduce the risk on Company, and to ensure the organization’s internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained.
  • Provide support and advice on new potential businesses opportunities and when dispute arising with suppliers
  • Research and communicate developments on regulatory issues having an impact on the agreements regularly entered into by the organization.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of department management policies, procedures and system in compliance with Company policy/strategy and industry best practices with high running efficiency. And draft and work out the SOP if required.
  • Monitoring, inspection and audit the procurement and logistic process from time to time in compliance with Company Policy and Standard, identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes, and filing all relevant documents in good order.
  • Organize the audit activities as per audit requirements, and collect all information, consolidate, and report as required.
  • Other duties as assign from time to time by the department manager.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 - 5 years’ relevant working experience in a managerial position handling contractual issues and procurement matters with the experience in the Oil & Gas or Marine industry.
  • Good communication skills, and excellent writing, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a high stress environment with short timeline expectations.
  • Independent, proactive, resourceful, results-oriented, and strong attention to detail and possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
  • Previous experience working with contract regulations with the related laws will be advantageous
  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information
