Job Title: Contract Manager (Main Contractor)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Contract Manager

to join our construction team. The successful candidate will lead a team of quantity surveyors, oversee all contractual and commercial matters, ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements while safeguarding the company's interests.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor contract obligations, variations, and claims to ensure compliance and cost control. Identify and mitigate contractual risks while maximizing project profitability. Support project managers in executing and interpreting contract terms. Handle documentation, reporting, and maintain accurate records of all contractual matters. Lead negotiations on variations, extensions of time, and dispute resolution.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related discipline. At least 5 years of relevant experience in contract management within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal frameworks, and project management. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
