Adecco is partnering with a renowned Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturer and we are looking for talents to join their business as a Contract Manufacturing Manager to support their outsourcing of manufacturing operation to Contract Manufacturer. This position will oversee the end-to-end contract manufacturing operation and partnership and also be accountable for CM strategic sourcing and developmentThe Job:
Supplier Relationship Management: Is the Go-To person for any new business evaluations, develops and sustains relationships with the contract manufacturers.
Contract Manufacturer Selection: Source and evaluate potential contract manufacturers based on their capabilities, capacity and cost competitiveness.
Contract Negotiations: Prepare and negotiate strategic vendor contracts for long term partnership to deliver business needs (e.g., capacity assurance, pricing, quality, inventory etc.)
Capacity/ Production Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional S&OP teams and CMs to develop production schedules that meet inventory, lead-time, and delivery requirements. Align S&OP plans between the company & CM; collaborate to de-escalate capacity or supply risks if any. Plan for provisions in CM capacity surge to support ramp cycles.
Qualification: Establish stringent qualification plan with QA for CMs to ensure CMs meet ASMPT (training, copy-exact transfer, FAI and PPAP).
Quality Assurance: Establish quality control processes with QA and ensure CM adhere to strict quality, safety, trade, legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
Performance Management: Establish & implement KPIs and metrics to assess the performance of CMs, regularly reviewing perf ormance, taking corrective actions as necessary.
Continuous Improvement: Track production unit costs, support CMs on process and cost efficiency improvements while maintaining high quality standards.
Change Management: Advocate clear change management process to govern, track and qualify all changes made to the form, fit and function of the product.
Project Management: Coordinate across various internal and external stakeholders to align and progress per plan to achieve the desired outcomes. Escalate and mitigate business critical risks.
Industry Knowledge: Stays abreast with industry and policy changes and identifies implications and opportunities f or his/her area of contract manuf acturing.
Business Planning: Participates in annual business planning process, provides monthly estimated actual on projected and actual spending, maintains a multiyear capital plan/budget .
The Talent:
More than 10 years of experience in Manufacturing function with proven leadership experience in leading a manufacturing team.
Experience in External and Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Processes & Quality Management.
Proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Drawings.
Willingness to travel to SEA countries to visit CM.
