Job Description

:

Reporting to the CEO with a team of 4 headcounts to manage constructions / renovation projects at the Changi Airport for our Duty Free stores based on a 1 year contract subject to renewal or conversion depending on the business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all constructions, renovation, design approvals with HQ in South Korea, landlords, local authorities, contractors and consultants
• Ensure that designs are in accordance with the CAG\'s requirements, industry standards, compliances and contractual requirements.
• Act as the main point of contact in the preparation, presentation and translation of reports, projects progress, design and executions between HQ in South Korean and the local teams in Korean language
• Manage design developments within the project team and external stakeholders
• Review and identify potential risk and/or technical issues
• Initiate, review and manage tender process to award contractors for projects assigned
• Involve in technical discussions with HQ in South Korea, Landlord, consultants, contractors and suppliers
• Manage the design deliverables - work package design submission, drawing & material submission
• Coordinate of design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities
• Review project specification, technical clarifications and construction drawings
• Responsible for liaison with authorities to obtain clearance for the construction works
• Coordinate design submission with authorities and government bodies
• Work with clients, consultants and contractors as required during planning, design and construction phases
• Oversee and manage the design review process to include maintaining accurate and timely design review databases
• Ensure that the overall design progress is in line with the project timeline and standards
• Provide inputs into buildability and value engineering proposals
• Any other ad hoc assignment as assigned by the Management

• Degree in architecture / Interior Design or related disciplines
• At least 10 years structural or architectural field in the renovation or construction industry with hands on experience with Autocad and other relevant design platform
• Able to speak and write Korean language in order to present, report, communicate, translate and be the main point of contact between HQ in South Korea and the local teams.
• Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
• Ability to multi taks in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitude
