What you will be working on:As a Contract Manager / Senior Contract Manager in the Coastal Protection Department, you will be working with project teams to manage various contracts and procure new contracts/services in accordance with Government Instruction Manuals. Your job role will include, but is not limited to the following: 1. Work with project teams to procure (tender calling, evaluation and award) new contracts/services to carry out engineering studies, investigations, surveys and/or construction works. 2. Work with project teams to manage contracts for engineering studies, investigations, surveys and/or construction works, including carry out star-rate assessment, variation works etc. where needed. 3. Provide guidance to project teams on procurement related matters. 4. Provide guidance to project teams on Contract Management matters. 5. Attendance to Audit Queries. 6. Maintain close liaison and coordination with PUB Procurement and Contracts to keep abreast of latest procurement practices and initiatives.What we are looking for:
- Degree in Building/Quantity Surveying or related discipline with working experience in procurement and contract management \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with Government Procurement requirements is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous, strong analytical and problem-solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Good oral & written communication skills and able to work independently as well as in a team
