Job Responsibilities

This role covers GST, Tax support statutory, accounting, compliance, systems testing activities. The employee will be involved in supporting various aspects of GST projects, rate changes, systems testing, tax adjustments, reporting to ensure financial compliance for all SG tax related areas.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Undertake streamlining projects and initiatives involving GST systems, reporting improvement. Involve in project testing & execution for Singapore GST changes.
• Prepare schedules, gather information for Post Certification Audits for respective GST programs.
• Support preparation & analysis of financial tax information to provide timely responses as requested by business and authorities. Assist in preparing schedules, journal entries, retrieval of information from business partners to deliver compliance and controls.
• Support communication, email follow ups to the operation teams on project next steps.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance Diploma. Professional Certification ACCA/CA/CPA or business degree would be favorable.
• At least 3 - 5 years of Finance / Accounting experience.
• Experience in supporting GST analysis and reporting. Past records of SAP systems testing.
• Good working knowledge of SAP (ECC) is a must.
• Experience in systems improvement or streamlining projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Possesses strong inter-personal and communications skills.
• Has ability to work on one's own and diligent in following through the assigned tasks. Efficient in time-management and fast in execution. Is meticulous and maintains detailed and accurate accounting records.
• Proven track records in analysis and problem-solving. Ability to understand business processes.
• Knowledge of IRAS programs such as ACAP / Major exporter scheme would be a plus.
