Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Be involved in the management of the contract administration procedures

• Be involved in the preparation of contractual correspondence

• Advise on various contractual positions

• Liaise with the senior management regarding proposed contractual actions

• Establish and maintain a claims/notification tracker to monitor all contractual issues

• Assist the contractual team on managing contractual positions

• Work closely with the document control team to ensure all documentation is filed appropriately

• Work closely with the team on the drafting of contracts and collation of contract documentation

• Work closely with the team on post-contract management, including providing contract administration advice, claims tracking, claims management and claims resolution

• Partner closely with the planning, construction and QS teams

• Provide guidance to members of the team on preparing claims and contractual correspondence
  

• Degree in Quantity Surveying

• Must have experience of working in Singapore on Government projects in Contractual/commercial management capacity

• Min 10 Years of relevant experience, preferably a legal qualification and MRICS

• Have strong research skills and an in-depth understanding of legal agreements

• Have working experience with Singapore Government entities

• Have a working knowledge of local and international contract laws and corporate policies

• Have excellent negotiation, persuasion, and judgment skills

• Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing

• Are detail oriented and quality focused
