The position is responsible for the efficient, reliable and safe operation of all diesel generating units and its auxiliary equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.

• Implements start-up, shutdown and loading of all diesel generating units and auxiliaries according to standard operating procedures and upon instruction of superior.
• Monitors various operating systems and make corrective action for any deviation from standard operating limits
• Performs corrective measures as instructed by the team Leader through remote control facilities or thru the Engine Room Operator.
• Monitors and checks actual power load generated by the plant and transmission of 24- hour power to customer.
• Coordinates with the Shift Supervisor regarding proper scheduling of load and generation of energy on a daily basis.

• 3-4 years experience in diesel engine-based power generating plant
• Must be a licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
• With experience in control room operation of diesel engine power plant
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
