The Role The Control Systems Engineer is responsible for the development and execution of automation system as part ECOSOFTT's award-winning Water WISE Buildings and Industries platform. The successful candidate will work on impactful client projects for water/environmental sustainability and support the development of IIoT-related innovations for Smart Water Management offerings.

He/she will work with equally passionate environmental engineers and project managers to create a positive impact on society and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and water treatment or environmental management processes
• Develop Control Narratives and Ladder logic diagrams
• Develop PLC codes, perform configuration and validation
• Develop HMI designs, optimize data exchanges and general system usability
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures
• Architect tools for automation of development and deployment of PLC-based systems
• Define and develop project IIoT deployment architecture
• Participate in the execution of start-up and commissioning of water treatment, recycling and environmental solutions

Requirements

The successful candidate is likely to possess the following:

• Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Environmental or Computer Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in control systems and automation solutions
• Passion for making a positive impact on society and the environment using technology
• Advanced proficiency in programming industrial processes and manufacturing equipment, incl:

• PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, GE, Mitsubishi)

• Human Machine Interface (Ignition, Siemens Comfort Panel, AB PanelView, FactoryTalk, LabView)

• Knowledge of networking and connectivity
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, VB.net, JavaScript
