Controller, Singapore, USA and Switzerland
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the Controller, Singapore, USA and Switzerland include:
Provide controllership oversight for Singapore, USA and Switzerland entities.
Manage the legal entities' annual budget.
Business partner to the local management team and provide finance & accounting support for go-to-market access for new market entries, including owning the set-up of the financial processes within Oracle and defining the process in the system set-up.
Oversee the day-to-day accounting transactions and supervise accounting staff to ensure correct accounting treatment for business transactions.
Manage the financial close monthly and quarterly process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial information, and supporting the cycle review to ensure accuracy and completeness of the group's financial close process.
Provide month-end balance sheet and income statement fluctuation reports for entity-level reviews.
Ensure timely preparation and audit of financial statements for local entities, and ensure compliance with local statutory and tax compliance.
Process improvements, and ongoing review of processes.
Manages 2 direct reports and 2 indirect reports, to ensure efficiency and accuracy of accounting information.
Responsible to Corporate management to ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and procedures.
Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time.

Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and corp secretary
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 8-10 years of relevant experience
CA, CPA certification, or international equivalent
6-8 years Big 4 Public Accounting experience
Controllership experience preferred
Influencing skills
Innovation skills, thinking out-of-box
US GAAP, IFRS, and SFRS accounting knowledge
Passionate, energetic, flexible, and ready to lead
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across the organization
