Job Description
Responsible for running day-to-day control and management of scheduled jobs using BMC Control - M job scheduling tool in Data Centre which runs across multi-platform systems on Mainframe, AS/400, UNIX, WinNT, etc, running Production and Development environments.Flexibility and availability to work for production support during early morning/late eve/ night hours and weekendsRequirements
- 3-4 years of experience on Control-M Job processing
- Good knowledge in scripting (Shell, Python) to automate manual tasks
- Experience in using Control-M utilities for AS400, Mainframe, Open system (Unix and Windows) platform
- Working Knowledge on Unix and Database scripting
- Good experience in Operations/Technical/Production support
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite of products
- Good communication skills
- Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Operations support and monitoring
- Proven ability to work independently and under pressure
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Day shift
- Late shift
- Weekend availability
- Control-M: 3 years (Preferred)
