Completes hot meal preparation bygrilling, sauteing, roasting, frying, andbroiling ingredients and assembling andrefrigerating cold ingredients. Adheres to proper food handling,sanitation, and safety proceduresmaintains temperature and HazardAnalysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logsas required and maintains appropriatedating, labeling, and rotation of all fooditems. Contributes to daily, holiday, and thememenus in collaboration with a supervisor. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation ofequipment, food storage, and work areas. Completes cleaning according to daily andweekly schedules and dishwashing/potwashing. Listens to customer complaints andsuggestions and resolves complaints. Implements suggestions within theparameter of position and refers morecomplex concerns to the supervisor. Participates in and/or contributes toprograms, committees, or projectsdesigned to improve quality of service andemployee productivity. Maintains clean work areas, utensils, andequipment. Develop new menu items whileimprovising the existing ones. Maintain and manage kitchen expenses,food costs, inventory, and staffing withinbudgetary limits. Able to cook north Indian food. Able to do shift work
