Weigh, measure, mix and prepare ingredients according to the recipes.
Steam, grill, boil, cut vegetables and other ingredients.
Mix and prepare indian spices
Check food and ingredients for freshness.
Arrange and garnish dishes to make them look appealing to the customers.
Ensure that the kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.
Practice proper hygiene and sanitation.
Handle additional tasks as assigned by the head cook
Responsibilities:
Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions.
Good experience with preparing Indian vegetarian dishes.
Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes.
Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, etc.
Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to work on week ends and public holidays.
