Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Ensure quantity and quality of items ordered are received and stored in proper conditions
  • Ensure safe and proper use of the equipment at all times
  • Execute and maintain standard recipes, cooking techniques, and presentation to assure consistency
  • Ensures that food storage areas are maintained in accordance with the kitchen’s hygiene, health and safety policies and procedures
  • Ensures that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times
  • Monitor kitchen maintenance and report any defects of operating equipment to the Head Chef
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head Chef
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the preparation of western cuisine
  • Possess food hygiene and safety certificate
  • Team player and able to work independently
  • Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast pace environment
  • Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holiday
Other Information
  • 6 Upper East Coast
  • 5 days work week
