Job Description

You will create a comprehensive database for research and maintenance for all patients who have undergone radiotherapy from the Division of Radiation Oncology. You will be involved in data abstraction of data from case sources, entry of data, quality of data and analysis work. You will participate in projects including presentations and work closely with clinicians and other allied health professionals.
Your duties will include:

• Develops a broad based knowledge of the uses and access of various electronic databases and Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
• Bridge and Integrate various electronic databases and EMRs to automate and streamline process of data entry and updates
• Explore and innovate novel methods of high-precision and high throughput data entry methodologies
• Reviews current clinical data, data listings and database to ensure all required data are captured and recorded in accordance with the protocol and data management guidelines
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure consistency of data collection methods, interpretation and approach.
• Response to queries for accuracy, resolves any discrepancies and modifies the database when necessary
• Assist Research Manager/Director in development and review of KPI and goals

Job Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Sciences or related field with working experience, preferably in healthcare industry
• 2 years experience in database and research would be an advantage
• Possess strong administrative, problem-solving, written and communication skills
• Meticulous and analytical team player, work independently and liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Python or R programming language
