The Coordinator/Senior Coordinato Job Function Shipment/Import & Export, Logistic Coordinator Industry Trading Firm Our client is a Japanese distributor specializing in semiconductors and electronic parts. The Coordinator/Senior Coordinator is responsible for handling import/export documentation. Team headcount: 10 Reporting to: Senior Manager What you will be working on - Enter Customer/Supplier purchase orders into the system & process amendment of order if required. - Follow-up for delivery schedule reply from Supplier/Buyer & reply to the customer. - Liaise with Sales/Buyer/Supplier for delivery schedule replies for problem items. - Send pull-in request to Buyer/Supplier upon receiving customer request. - Input shipment details in the Customer/Supplier website if necessary. - Liaise with a third party - programming/repacking house if necessary. - Liaise with the warehouse for incoming/outgoing shipment issues & packing requirements. - Liaise with forwarder for incoming/outgoing shipment & process booking of shipment if necessary. - Issuing shipping documents to Customer/Forwarder/Supplier (return shipment to the supplier). - Check and tabulate freight charges for necessary approval. - Liaise with insurance companies, if needed Requirement What they are looking for - Minimum GCE 'O' level or equivalent - Basic knowledge of import/export documentation - Strong Excel background - Minimum 1 years of import/export/shipping coordinator experience in the Trading/Logistics industry.
