We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join an established bank to support core Avaloq banking platforms. This role is suited for developers with 3-5 years of experience in Avaloq and a desire to grow within banking technology.
Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain Avaloq Core Banking System modules
Configure Avaloq parameterisation and business modules (e.g. payments, securities, client data)
Write and maintain Avaloq scripts (Avaloq Script, PL/SQL) for enhancements and interfaces
Support testing, debugging, and deployment of new features
Collaborate with business analysts and senior developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Provide production support and troubleshoot system issues
Requirements
3-5years of hands-on Avaloq development experience
Knowledge of Avaloq parameterisation and customisation
Strong skills in Avaloq Script, PL/SQL, and SQL databases
Understanding of banking products such as payments, trading, or client lifecycle management
Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology
Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Open to more experienced developers, provided they remain focused on hands-on development
Good to Have
Avaloq certification (ACP)
Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting
Familiarity with API integration and interface development
Exposure to testing frameworks and automation tools
