ROLE

• Network design, architecture planning and roadmap evolution. Planning of applications, interfaces, and features
• Implementing specific solutions which includes routing, online charging, data and voice packages in OCS
• Operations, fault management, trouble shooting, configuration management and implementation
• Responsible for maintenance, patches and upgrade activities.
• To maintain a high availability of systems and services
• Propose enhancements to improve service quality and reliability
• Managing of projects, new integrations, upgrades, acceptance testing etc
• Support other core network functions including Packet Core, VAS, and interconnects etc
• Responsible for documenting and maintaining IMDA Code of practices, Business Continuity Process and TELCO best practices etc
• Perform any other functions as may be assigned by the company management from time to time to support business needs

The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, IT, Computer or Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in OCS and Core network department of Mobile Telecom Network, Operations & Maintenance or Engineering function
• Strong business and technical knowledge in SS7, MAP, SIP, GTP, SMPP and Diameter
• Knowledge in features & functions of VoLTE/IMS/RCS, interfaces, protocols, call routing, call tracing, fault analysis and troubleshooting are advantageous
• Good knowledge of SDN/NFV/VNFi/MANO hardware & software functions.
• Good knowledge in in mobile telecommunications
• Knowledge in 5G NSA and SA network architecture will be advantageous
• Experience with maintenance tools and troubleshooting process
• Team player and at the same time can work autonomously
• Strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-organized: able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks efficiently
• Knowledge in inbound and outbound roaming (voice and data)
