Your key responsibilities:
  • As a Senior Structurer in the Trade Finance & Lending Cross-Product Structuring Team, you will be responsible for origination and independent development of solutions or products to serve complex customer requirements or situations.
  • The role includes identification of customer situations in close coordination with Corporate Coverage, Trade Finance & Lending Sales, existing structuring teams of the respective Trade Finance & Lending product areas, as well as with other Deutsche Bank sales units like Investment Bank.
  • Responsible to develop customer solutions based on existing trade finance, credit and capital market instruments (including derivatives in various asset classes such as credit, rates, Commodities, etc.), in accordance with the risk profile of DB Corporate Bank and all external and internal (legal and regulatory) requirements.
  • Have clear end-to-end ownership for individual transactions, especially with regard to pricing, economic risk analysis, regulatory and accounting evaluation, documentation negotiation, DB-internal coordination (including NTA and NPA) and their implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including risk management, legal and compliance to ensure that transactions comply with internal and regulatory requirements and policies
  • Act as a mentor and help in training and further development of junior structurers in team.
Your skills and experience:
  • Bachelor or Masters university degree in Finance or related field from reputed university.
  • At least 10 years of practical experience as a structurer in one of the asset classes (Structured Credit/Finance, Interest Rates, FX, Commodi-ties) in the capital market business of a global bank/financial service provider:
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, products and instruments with a focus on structured finance
  • Proven track record of successfully structuring and executing complex financial transactions
  • Capacity to build pitch and memos that are clear, structured, compelling and comprehensive in addressing both clients\' and internal stakeholders\' needs
  • Understanding of a bank balance sheet, a bank\'s risk and product approval procedures,
  • Knowledge of common booking, pricing and risk analysis systems of a bank
  • High level of motivation, entrepreneurial skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders/customers and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills preferably in a global organisation.
