We are looking for a passionate and creative individual to join our Corporate Communications team and support us in driving new ways of communication in the Asia Pacific region.
The role will enable the intern to work on a range of projects related to new ways of communication in the region across our internal and external platforms. There will also be opportunities to learn about the various aspects of corporate communication scope of work and gain meaningful and relevant skill sets.
The individual is expected to bring to the team fresh perspective of adopting new tools and digital platforms that will complement traditional channels to communicate and engage with our external and internal audiences.
The intern with Corporate Communications will also get to:
Develop and produce creative content at the bankwide level for various communication channels such as the regional Intranet, PRISM.
Develop contents that will be posted on digital / social media such as Linkedin to raise the MUFG corporate profile as well as promote employer branding
Monitor media news, support in media outreach and media clipping reports and share the outcome of the media releases with the internal stakeholders.
Co-create contents and partner internal stakeholders from business units and branches and post their stories on MUFG APAC website. Contents range from editorial feature write up, infographics, and digital platforms such as podcast and video chats.
Job Requirements
Background in Business, Arts, Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
Familiarity with LinkedIn
Excellent writing skills in English, with a flair for creative writing
Excellent Project Management skills
Ability to meet deadlines and must be an adaptable team player
Familiar with creative content production such as developing infographics, podcast and video editing will be a plus
This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only. In Singapore, MUFG internship partners include National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
