Job Summary:

• Working days & hrs: 5 days; Monday to Friday ; 9.00 am - 6.00pm (Flexi Hrs & Hybrid)
• Salary range: up to SGD 8,000 (dep on exp) + AWS + VB

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide expert translation and linguistic support to the Chief Regional Officer (CRO) in Asia & Oceania Region and the General Manager (GM) of the Singapore Branch, facilitating clear and effective communication across Japanese and English.
• Manage translation of official documents, correspondence, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance in both languages.
• Assist in coordinating the CRO/GM\'s calendar by translating schedules, meeting agendas, and appointment details, ensuring seamless communication between Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders.
• Translate travel arrangements and related documentation, including flight details, accommodation bookings, visa applications, and travel itineraries, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Support accounting processes by translating payment instructions, expense reports, and disbursement documentation within the accounting system.
• Facilitate regional internal and external business functions by translating logistical arrangements, including transportation and accommodation details.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by providing accurate and timely translations that enhance communication and collaboration.
• Oversee the translation and management of departmental assets, office supplies, and maintenance schedules for the CRO/GM\'s residence, ensuring proper communication across all parties.
• Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information by translating and handling administrative documentation with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
• Undertake other translation-related tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the department.
• Relevant experience in translation or linguistic support roles, particularly in business settings.
• Fluency in both English and Japanese (JLPT Level N1 or business-level proficiency) to facilitate effective communication with head offices in Tokyo and local/expatriate staff.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with accounting systems like SAP is preferred.
