The Corporate Relations (CR) Adviser will report to the Head, Corporate Relaions Singapore, and is a key member of the CR Team for Shell Singapore. The CR Adviser primarily supports Shell\xe2\x80\x99s Mobility business in Singapore to deliver all aspects of strategic corporate communications and stakeholders engagement including through traditional, social, and digital media channels, and may be involved in managing government affairs, as well as policy/regulatory advocacy as necessary. The role will also secondarily provide the same CR support to the Global Lubricants and Sectors & Decarbonisation (Construction & Roads) businesses.

Be a trusted advisor to the leaders of Mobility, Global Lubricants and Sectors & Decarbonisation (Construction & Road) businesses; provide strategic CR counsel;

Develop, own, and execute the integrated corporate relations strategies and plans for these businesses, while working closely with the country CR team to ensure consistency with the overall objectives of Shell Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s country reputation

Apply measurement and analysis to continuously improve impact

Support management of government relations, as well as policy & regulatory advocacy where needed

Deliver and implement communication and engagement plans by : - defining objectives of engagement; formulating narratives and messaging; identifying relevant internal and external stakeholders (e.g. general public, government, staff, media etc.); and identifying risks, mitigation, and issues that may impact reputation;

Support issues management and crisis communications for these businesses, as well as be part of the Shell Singapore country crisis management team

Skill & Experience:

Advanced degree preferred;

Strong knowledge of trends shaping the energy industry, energy transition, and climate change issues;

Proven experience in developing and executing integrated corporcommunications, government engagement strategies and programmes;

Proven experience in managing the media, as well as digital and social media channels;

Proven experience in stakeholder management and engagement;

Minimum of 12 years of professional experience with at least 9 years in corporate/brand communications or corporate affairs role (in-house or PR consultancy);

Excellent in listening, influencing, and communication, including writing and engagement skills;

Excellent interpersonal skills that build positive and trust-based relationships with external and internal stakeholders;

Strong experience in handling sensitive and confidential matters with integrity and discretion;

Strong ability to maintain level-headedness in the event of crisis;

Ability to work independently, balance competing priorities and manage workload;

Experience in media relations, issues management, stakeholder analysis and engagement, management of non-technical risks that may impact company reputation
