The role requires an individual to provide full spectrum of secretarial service to the team.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing workload effectively to provide timely and accurate support to lawyers
Assisting lawyers with their calendar management, organising of internal/external meetings, organising of travel arrangements and expenses claims
Matter project administration including but not limited to matter opening, time recording, filing, preparing and sending out of bills including bill narrations, and archiving
Preparing legal documents and court bundles
Assisting with e-litigation (Court filings and calendar) and searches (ACRA etc)
Undertaking other general secretarial administrative tasks (typing, filing, printing, scanning, etc.)
Requirements
Qualifications /skills / attributes:
Preferably with legal secretarial or paralegal experience in the recent 5 years, supporting legal teams specialising in complex international disputes
Experience in e-litigation is preferred but not mandatory as necessary training will be provided
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and possess strong interpersonal skills
A meticulous, responsible, proactive, and team player
