Job Responsibilities

Drive the monthly close & cost accounting process of the product cost of the business
Performs maintenance of the ERP system to support accumulation of cost accounting data
Maintain controls in accordance with GAAP and company policies
Follow GAAP procedures
Handle all cost accounting responsibilities, monitoring and analysis of production costs\xe2\x80\x99 variances
Prepare journal entries, schedules and analysis in accordance with GAAP
Participation in the Management Accounting month end close process
Play an active role in the SAP implementation of the Plant
Liase with Auditors and Tax Agents on statutory requirements

Job Requirements

Possess at least a ACCA/ Degree in Accountancy/ Diploma with CA certification or equivalent
3-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in SAP R3 or S4, those with experience in SAP implementation has an added advantage
Knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting is preferred
Proficient in MS Office applications e.g. Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
Salary RM9,000 - RM12,000
