THE COMPANY
Our Client is a US listed Multinational Corporation in the Manufacturing Space (P&L size of $5.3 billion) with strong presence worldwide. They are now looking for a Cost Accounting Manager to join their team in Singapore, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.
THE ROLE
The Cost Accounting Manager will be responsible for:
- Responsible for inventory and COGS accounting (standard cost updates, annual cost roll and transfer prices)
- Analyzing inventory obsolescence and write-offs by working with Operations, Supply Chain and other stakeholders
- Maintain oversight of inventory levels, consumption and movements
- Reviewing P&L impact and Balance sheet commentary (monthly analysis of COGS, manufacturing variance)
- Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations for Inventory, etc.
- Possesses a Degree in Accountancy/Finance. ACCA or CPA graduates may also apply
- Has at least 7 years of work experience, preferably started their career in an audit environment
- Manufacturing background with Cost Accounting knowledge or experience
- Good interpersonal skill, team player, self-motivated and analytical mind.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Clear and rapid career progression
