Job Description

The Cost Controller is responsible for planning, tracking, analyzing, and controlling costs associated with company projects and operations. The role ensures financial efficiency by monitoring budgets, identifying variances, and providing accurate reporting to support informed decision-making





Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for projects or departments. Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures are within approved budgets. Analyze cost variances and propose corrective actions when necessary. Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for management review. Work closely with procurement, project, and finance teams to ensure cost efficiency. Track and record actual expenditures and compare against estimates. Assist in developing cost standards and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. Evaluate supplier/vendor quotes and pricing for cost competitiveness. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies. Support in month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost accounting. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

REQUIREMENTS:



At least 3 years of experience in cost control, budgeting, or financial analysis. Experience in Logistics Industry is preferred (or construction, manufacturing ). Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
