Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach in his/her work that includes being a team player
  • Responsible for the preparation project cost monthly reporting, invoicing, claim/variation submissions and final settlement and other commercial preambles.
  • Reports to project cost controls lead and advise him relating to cost control and reporting matters and participate in the project meetings.
  • Establishes the claim requirement, documentation and substantiation for measurement and cost-plus items and adjustable items to the Client, working closely with all stakeholders include procurement teams to support timely contract price adjustment.
  • Set up and maintain the cost breakdown structure based on project execution strategy and project requirement.
  • Ensures all intercompany invoices are capture in BeSPOKE system
  • Works closely with contract engineers/ QS for subcontracting, measurement and claims to the Client.
  • Attends costing, planning invoicing workshops as required and establish proper recognition of invoicing milestones against the planning progress, and overall project cashflow management.
  • Drives and attends cost control meetings with Client and handles any disputes on the monthly claim.
  • Prepares and review monthly project costing report to ensure that project expenditures are within budget and in compliance with the contractual specifications.
  • Handles various project costing reporting, payment forecast, cashflow to Client and Corporate.
  • Manages the billing and payment follow up process and monitors project milestone/ progress to ensure timely milestones/ progressive payments in accordance to the contract conditions.
  • Manages and deliver risk management and monthly dashboard reporting.
  • Finalises project final accounts with customer, settlement with subcontractors and close out.
  • Works closely with contract team to have cost review with various external key subcontractors (HFG, T&I, Iv-One, SLP etc)
  • Prepares and update project cost report ensuring all cost charges and movement are tracked and supported with documentation as per reporting calendar.
  • Liaises with PMT for project status updates and to validate monthly forecasting.
  • Prepares and update monthly cashflow for submission to Corporate
  • Ensures all POs and WOs and payments flow from procurement & subcontractor team into the Project Cost Code system
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in any engineering or other disciplines
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in related field
  • Good written and spoken communication skill
