Job Description
Job QualificationEducation : Preferably College Level (Mechanical EngineeringSkills: Computer Literate, Knowledgeable in Material Planning, Can read mechanical drawingsExperience: Preferably with at least 2 yearsDuties & Responsibilities:
- Follow all safe work practices
- Analyze mechanical drawing and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Consult with Purchasing Section, Section Heads, Dept. Managers, Salesman and General Manager to discuss and formulate estimates.
- Discuss technical information with walk in customer regarding items for quotation using the Customer's Instruction Form
- Assess applicability of estimates done by tracking awarded quotation
- Work overtime when necessary
- Participate in company meetings and activities
- Responsible for an accurate and cost effective estimate to ensure competitive pricing
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the department's area
