Requirements:

Minimum 3 years working experience with hands on knowledge of preparing cost estimates ITE/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings. Able to work independently and a team player in a multi-tasking environment Strong interpersonal skills with excellent spoken and written communication skills, need to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment may need to liase with Chinese speaking clients. Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication industry or machining industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

prepare detailed cost estimations with labour, material, manufacturing costs; study customer's requirements, liaise with customer and conceptualize design; Follow up on quotations and secure orders; Develop design drawings and material list; Identify the best production method with production supervisors to maximize productivity for each project; Review processes and engineering techniques to improve quality, yield and cycle time; Coordinate & participate with internal and external stakeholders to address clarifications/negotiations and review of designs/manufacturing/sourcing methods to optimize costs Undertake projects as and when assigned by the company;

Experience/Technical Knowledge

Knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and Solid works


Knowledge in MS Office * Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals
