The role

As Love, Bonito\'s Singapore Country Manager, you will be our evangelist and are responsible for driving Love, Bonito\'s expansion in Singapore. You will be responsible for the country\'s P&L and the health of Singapore\'s business. You will play a pivotal role in developing a cohesive omni experience, working closely with HQ to identify opportunities and establish partnerships to increase brand equity in the market. You will lead and manage your team cohesively across various functions. Reporting directly into our COO, your mission is to provide the best in class customer experience and build a strong cult following to be the #1 female womenswear brand in the country.

You should have/be

  • A genuine interest in all things female - you genuinely want to be part of a movement to inspire young girls and women in Singapore to feel empowered and independent
  • An ability to think & work strategically and systematically
  • A track record of extreme ownership and delivering tangible results
  • Comprehensive understanding of all the omnichannel levers with the ability to interpret the insights and agility to drive commercial growth
  • A self-starter, proactive and hands-on approach. Get it done right, and fast!
  • Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and an ability to develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and managerial qualities and a love for growing and developing people

Main responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership
  • Oversee, manage and grow the LBSG organisation and her people
  • Create a strong and positive Love, Bonito team culture inline with Love, Bonito values
  • Manage team, ensure that everyone\'s in the right seat, plan out development needs, identify organization\'s strengths, weaknesses and plan out hiring needs
  • Develop a high performing, highly driven and positive working environment and culture
Country Operations
  • Growth Strategy & Future Planning:
  • Develop Singapore\'s long-term growth strategy and roadmap in line with Group\'s strategic roadmap & vision
  • Flesh out local brand positioning and strategy to identify future growth opportunities
  • Omni Expansion and Growth
  • Develop and drive omnichannel growth strategies to drive new customer acquisition and grow customer lifetime value (repeat purchase)
  • Responsible for expansion, leasing and optimization strategy of our retail store network
  • Initiate, manage and oversee the execution of integrated marketing strategies to drive customer growth and retention
  • Develop commercial strategies and expansion plans to define channels of play
  • Roll out relevant growth opportunities based on local market nuances and landscape
  • Brand Evangelism:
  • Grow Love, Bonito into a leader in Singapore that\'s top of mind amongst our target female audience
  • Grow brand effectively and creatively through community building, outreach, PR and marketing
  • Ensure that team operates with the utmost attention to the customer with superior service excellence especially across all points of sales, customer service and social media
  • Business Planning & P&L Management:
  • Develop business plans and forecasts with the Regional FP&A team
  • Responsible for LBSG\'s P&L and work with both local and regional teams on all key revenue and cost drivers
  • Manage organization with creative frugality; stick to budgets and never spend unnecessarily; optimize cash flow
  • Monitor and optimize inventory; ensure tight inventory management and health
  • Performance Management & Reviews:
  • Ensure that business is on track with targets, proactively identify blockers and untapped drivers
  • Run weekly and monthly reviews with the local team to review performance, deep-dive into issues, develop next steps etc
  • Lead monthly reviews with HQ stakeholders to review performance, analyze and identify key reasons for over and underperformance (go deep, must understand the why), share upcoming high-level plans

  • Customer lifetime value (LTV) and retention rates
  • Market share tracked against key competitors
  • In market brand awareness
  • Customer satisfaction score
Requirements:
  • 9+ years in business development, marketing or strategy consulting
  • Past experience working in a fast-paced high growth consumer/retail company
  • High analytical, numerate and proficient in Excel and other analytics tools (SQL a plus!)
  • Experience managing and growing a tea
