We are looking for an energetic, dynamic and driven individual to join us as a Senior Relationship Manager for our Corporate Client Coverage team for Southeast Asia based in Singapore. The role will focus on the development and management of the corporate client portfolio for SG in Thailand and Vietnam markets. The individual should possess strong communication skill sets, a charming personality and be a strong team player who is also able to work independently.
Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain a portfolio of Thailand, Vietnamese (and Singapore) corporates by building up strong and direct relationships with the respective CFO/Treasurer/Treasury team members with the key objective of deepening existing client wallet and broadening the client dialogue with the respective SG business lines.
Develop new client relationships with target clients in Thailand, Vietnam (and Singapore).
Adopt a systematic approach towards covering of clients by developing clear client coverage strategies.
Make regular visits to Thailand and Vietnam to ensure that clients are actively covered.
Work closely with business lines in Global Markets, Global Banking & Advisory business lines and Global Transaction Banking in the cross-selling of the bank’s product suite by identifying and understanding client’s business needs.
Work closely with credit team to manage credit facilities request and maintain proactive interaction with credit risk chain to ensure that they are up to date with client expectations and the dynamic business landscape in Thailand and Vietnam.
Work with middle office and back office team to ensure seamless delivery of the bank’s products to clients.
Regularly keep up to date and comply with Legal policies, Compliance procedures and policies.
Supervise and manage KYC processes for new clients and existing clients.
To lead, mentor and help to develop graduate trainees within the team.
Profile required
Academic Backgroud and certifications, experience
Proactive, dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is a team player with strong business acumen.
More than 10 years’ experience in banking with a focus on corporate client coverage and marketing of structured finance and global markets products.
Experience with coverage of Thai and Vietnamese client preferred.
Fluency in written and spoken Thai is mandatory due to market coverage of Thai clients
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
CMFAS Module 4B certified (could be acquired within 1 month on the job).
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
