• Protect A/R assets by managing a portfolio of accounts to maximize gainful sales and reduce debt losses.
• Manage client payment schedules, managerial reports, nationwide account communication and client development, and developing repeat business opportunities.
• Determine account status and execute necessary/legal proceedings in compliance with FDCPA and corporate regulations.
• Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts and used skillful communication techniques and problem solving strategies to effectively help them resolve the debt.
• Recognize potential problem accounts and utilize collection techniques to resolve accounts according to FDCPA regulations.
• Gather information according to Medicare and Medicaid HIPAA compliance B2B collections and customer account management.
• Determine and process adjustments regarding Medicare non-covered pharmacy, insure charity, bankruptcy, uninsure discounts and Medicaid write offs.
• Train and supervise staff and cross-train managers on the A/R function, from sales, and distribution departments.
• Post Insurance/Patient payments accurately to reflect EOB.
• Handle Medicare and Medicaid incoming patient calls in reference to medical statements receive
• Work collaboratively with patient account department to ensure accurate billing and resolve claim denials and medical-necessity EOB issues.
• Research patient account information and make contact with insurance carriers to determine patient eligibility for Medicare benefits.
• Utilize various skip-tracing services such as Accurint and TheWorkNumber in order to locate consumers and verify employment for account recovery purposes.
