Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Works closely with manning centers, vendors and clients
  • Manage crewing activities and work closely with Crewing Manager
  • Prepare and provide the manning budgets for the client.
  • Coordinate the plan crew requirements and prepare yearly plans
  • Screen applicants as per Crew Selection Criteria and client requirements
  • Ensure validity of flag documents & Certificates.
  • Ensure embarking and disembarking of seafarers is well coordinated with Port Agents,
  • Monitor Training reports and ensure training as per vessel specific Training requirements
  • To ensure that travel plans are within the travel budget allocated for the vessels.
  • Prepare and generate reports as required by the Crew Manager
  • Issue non-conformance reports for lapses and as a means of ensuring improvements
  • Ensure Vessel takeover and hand over is carried out well under the direction of the Crew Manager.
  • Compile all invoices of P&I cases.
  • Coordinate with training centers and institutions for crew training


Requirements


Requirements
  • Master/Chief Officer or Chief Engineer/Second Engineer or equivalent
  • Min 3 years of crewing experience
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of HSSEQ
  • Customer Focus
  • Team Player
