As the CTO for APAC you will have two sets of collaboration partners. The first is with APAC field sales, channel partners, prospects, customers, public relations, and speaking engagement audiences for the purpose of demonstrating the company's efficiencies and security benefits for strategic sales engagements. The second is with the individual business unit managers, product managers, product architects, and technical CTOs for the purpose of providing technical input to the product planning process.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who has a deep understanding of how network and endpoint architectures are designed and interoperate when efficiently designed. Equally important is the ability of the candidate to think on his feet and apply his breadth of knowledge to solving customer, prospect, partner, integrator, and audience problems that create increased sales opportunity the company. Direct experience designing and building or deploying networked security technologies will be essential.
Lastly, ability to create timely and thought-provoking blog and presentation materials will allow the candidate to increase not only the brand, but establish an APAC presence with respect to thought leadership.
