Reports to: Training Manager/ Fleet Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications: - Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Graduate of Culinary College
At least two years working experience as Chef
Good communication skills
Computer literacy
Main Responsibilities:
Assisting the Training Manager.
Ensuring that QMS and associated procedures are implemented
Provide e-learning distance coaching as per the specified training material and in conformity with the QMS provisions.
Coaching and assessing e-learning for vessels / participants.
Conducting onshore culinary trainings
Assessing the competence gained by the trainees.
Reporting to the Training Manager in regards to course progresses of participants.
Reporting to the Training Manager in case of any issues or questions arise from the vessel and/or principal.
Updating and maintaining training records of participants.
Informing the Training Manager about, and handling complaints and discrepancies effectively between vessel, principal and Culinary Training Consultants
Participating in design and development procedure for training courses.
Supervising, coaching and motivating team-members.
Following and adhering to the predetermined communication and reporting lines.
Participating in the in-house training program.
Following any other duties assigned by the Training Manager.
Visiting vessels and sailing with vessels for the purpose of conducting on board trainings to the galley crew.
